We’re opening our gates and inviting families, young people, schools and professionals to come and discover Stable & Wild.
Explore our beautiful outdoor setting, meet our animals and team, and discover how our personalised approach helps children and young people engage, grow and progress.
Whether you’re a parent looking for a different kind of support for your child, a school considering alternative or therapeutic provision, or a professional supporting a young person, our Open Day is an opportunity to experience the environment for yourself, hear more about our approach and impact, and talk to our team about what might be possible.
What can I find out about?
At Stable & Wild, we work with children and young people from primary age through to post-16, providing personalised support shaped around individual needs, strengths and goals.
During your visit, you’ll be able to find out more about:

Personalised therapeutic support – including 1:1 and small-group sessions designed around the individual.

Purposeful animal and nature-based sessions – using our animals and outdoor environment to create opportunities for engagement, reflection, confidence and personal development.

Alternative provision – including support for children and young people who may be struggling to engage with more traditional education settings.

SEND, SEMH, EBSA and barriers to learning – and how we adapt our approach, environment and expectations to meet different needs.

Qualifications and progression – including recognised programmes and opportunities for older learners to develop practical skills and work towards positive next steps.

Individual pathways – from early therapeutic intervention through to longer-term provision and post-16 progression.
You’ll also have the opportunity to meet members of our team, see some of our animals and explore the Stable & Wild site, giving you a much better feel for our environment and what a day with us can look like.
Presentations throughout the day
Alongside the opportunity to explore the site, meet our animals and talk to the team, we’ll be running short presentations at intervals throughout the day.
These will give you a deeper insight into Stable & Wild and cover:

Our programmes – the different ways we can support children and young people, from therapeutic intervention and alternative provision through to recognised programmes and qualifications.

Our approach – how we combine personalised support with animals, nature and our outdoor environment to create meaningful opportunities for engagement, learning and development.

Progression – how we work with each young person’s individual starting point and goals, helping them build towards positive next steps in education, training and beyond.

Impact – the difference our approach can make for children and young people, and how we work with families, schools and other professionals to understand and evidence progress.
There’s no need to arrive for one specific presentation – sessions will run throughout the Open Day, so you can join one as part of your visit.
There will also be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and speak directly to members of our team about our provision and the support you may be looking for.
Who is the Open Day for?
Our Open Day is for families and young people who are considering Stable & Wild, as well as schools, SEND teams, local authority colleagues and other professionals who would like to understand more about our provision.
You don’t need to know exactly what type of support you’re looking for before you come. Our team will be available to talk through your circumstances, answer questions and help you understand which options may be appropriate.

Stable & Wild is a working provision and home to our animals, so managing visitor numbers helps us keep the day safe, calm and enjoyable for everyone.
