We are Stable & Wild.

From January 2023, The Seeds of Change's Bedfordshire branch will be delivering services under a new name, Stable & Wild.

Our team, location and range of services remain the same with a few exciting additions to enhance our offering for young people. Read on to find out more about Stable & Wild.

Stable & Wild: the natural way to grow.

We have created a natural, wild and supportive environment to help young people to overcome their barriers to learning and help them to grow and thrive. We offer a unique combination of experiences with horses, small animals and the natural world to enable individuals to develop transferrable skills that help them to cope in their everyday life.  We facilitate courses that are tailored to the individual. We are not therapists, but we do adopt a therapeutic approach using the environment as a metaphor for the challenges that life throws at us and to bring about lasting change.  We provide a sanctuary, away from tradition, constraints and distractions, which offers both stability and freedom.  We are Stable and Wild.

YOUNG PEOPLE

What you can expect when you come to Stable and Wild.  Meet some of the team, including our co-coaches - the animals - and find out more about our peaceful site.

“I think J has really enjoyed his time [at Stable & Wild]. He’s enjoyed being able to spend time outdoors, with animals, and be away from the formal school setting. I know he really liked spending time with the animals and we all had a good laugh when he came home and did his impression of Jack the donkey. I think it's been invaluable for him to have some space to do something different and in a small group setting. I am pretty sure he'll miss it once he stops going.

Thanks for having him on the programme.”
